Training content
The training consists of a theoretical section, practical exercises at the lifting site (Note: clothing – weather-appropriate safety equipment required), and a written exam.
Topics
Theoretical Training Content (4 hours):
- Principles of safe slinging and signaling
- Checking and rejection criteria for lifting accessories
- Load rigging
- Signaling equipment and hand signals
- Safe installation of concrete and wooden elements
- Introduction to cranes from a rigger’s perspective
- Tower crane components and weekly checks.
Practical Training Content (4 hours):
- Practical training in safe rigger work using various lifts
- Crane communication tools and hand signals
- Load attachment, lifting, installation, and detachment
- Inspection of lifting rope and lifting accessories
- Introduction to tower cranes through weekly inspections
• A written exam will be held at the conclusion of the training. Upon successful completion, a certificate in rigger training will be awarded.

Cost: €190 + VAT, covering the training, morning and afternoon coffee, and lunch.
Cancellation Policy:
Participation in the training can be canceled free of charge up to two weeks before the event. For cancellations made later than two weeks before the event, 50% of the participation fee will be charged. For cancellations made less than one week before the event, the full participation fee will be charged.
